The LSE Tops World's Most Expensive Universities

The London School of Economics has come top of the most expensive Universities in the world to study at. It has long been known to have been the most expensive in the UK, but has now been confirmed as the most expensive.

The survey took into account everything that a Student would reasonably have (not need) whilst studying. Things like Gym memberships, insurance, travel, accommodation and even a drink at the local bar.

Quite a high number of wealthy foreign descended students are located at the LSE. London has become the hub to rich middle eastern businessmen and woman over the last 15-20 years and they are keen to send to their children to good English speaking universities. This would explain how so many of the students can afford to study there.

The survey also reported that when questioned, over 78% of the respondents said that they would have thought that Oxford and Cambridge to have been the most expensive university locations. Cambridge came second in the list and Oxford came third.

The most indebted university was reported to be the students of Bristol. On average they would lave education with over £25,525 of student debt (excluding tuition fees).  However studies show that students from this university are the most likely to be free of student debts after 5 years.

The survey does not include tuition fees and only takes in to account the cost of living around the Universities.
